My name is Justin Parker, and I am a filmmaker, screenwriter, and composer. My love of film and music goes back a long way, and I have devoted my life to both. Initially, I had dedicated my life to music and had always wanted to compose music for the film industry. With my sound engineer and songwriter background, I had the opportunity to exercise these skills for several projects at Full Sail University. I composed several pieces of music for various projects, including a documentary, a short film, and a commercial.  I also had several opportunities to write, produce, direct, and act in short films.

 

During my time at Masters Recording Institute, I also studied post-production, which was my first introduction behind the scenes of filmmaking. Over the years, I have also interned at a few music studios, Indigital Studios in Santa Cruz, CA, and Augminished Studios in Littleton, CO, where I helped film music videos, which would lead me, later on, to work towards getting a degree in filmmaking because I felt compelled to learn about multiple aspects of the entertainment industry. Throughout the past few years, I have also written, recorded, and produced several albums and EPS, which I have released on multiple streaming platforms.

 

This past year, I released my first music video, Fade into Obscurity, which I wrote, directed, and acted in. ​​I have also gained some acting experience working with the Colorado Renaissance Festival as a cast member, where I was a street musician. This experience included dressing up in period-appropriate costumes, entertaining patrons, and playing music to audiences. Overall, I have experienced many different aspects of the entertainment industry and will continue to expand my horizons in the future.
